LPF Juniors’ WhatsApp Group Terms of Reference

Purpose

We want to provide a supportive space for discussion of issues amongst associate-level individuals across LPF practices. The group is expected to self-determine its own direction as a sounding board to voice ideas and suggestions for practices—or indeed the LPF overall—and to provide a source of support for individual members who are holding associate-level roles.

We ask that associates observe a few ground rules to ensure that the channel is useful, supportive, and a positive space for everyone.

Do

  • Propose ideas for agenda/discussion
  • Share challenges you’re experiencing
  • Offer specific support/knowledge exchange amongst your peers
  • Help to raise awareness of issues within the wider LPF
  • Co-develop and deliver solutions that support practice/LPF aims
  • Promote a culture of feedback and listening to each other

Don’t

  • Share commercially sensitive information
  • Talk about specific HR issues where individuals could be identified
  • Enter into conversations that could jeopardise bids/be interpreted as collusion
  • Commit your practice to obligations without first consulting decision-makers/ practice principals
